Tree planting and care can be defined as a holy act. Because, today, more and more researches are showing that every year we currently release almost the eight gigatonnes of carbon into the atmosphere. As we all know inhaling carbon is dangerous to our health and even excessive carbon can cause uncertain deaths, so we need to increase the level of oxygen that we necessitate during breathing. And it can be done by planting green trees as many as possible because the major source of getting oxygen in a huge amount is none but the green trees. One tree can be able to provide sufficient oxygen for at least ten people. Few tips, which are set forth below, can help one to create a greener world.

First select the direction:

You need to determine first the place where you are going to plant trees around your own home. The south and south - west sides of your house should be the perfect direction because it will give shade to your trees during summers. And you should plant the large growing species particularly at rearwards.

Choose above and below space in the ground:

Trees prefer to grow together as they manually cooperate each other in different ways. That's why they are called as “gregarious in nature”. So we should not limit our efforts only to cover more areas for tree plantation but also to embed lots of plants in a given area. There are generally two types of tree space in the ground such as: above and below. You should not implant the tall trees at place where high tension wires are going overhead. You can choose the underground space which are suitable for medium sized trees; and these trees should be embedded minimum at distance of four metres from each other. In case of the bigger ones you have to plant these at least at a distance of eight metres and away from your buildings foundation as well.

Decide the period of tree planting:

Actually the period of tree planting depends on some essential factors such as region and rainfall of the region, the species of the saplings, availability of irrigation facilities and so on. Rainy season is suitable for planting of the evergreen and semi-deciduous trees and winter is the best season for deciduous trees as they are dormant at this period of time. You can also choose the season of spring as well as the onset of monsoons for tree planting.

You can plant climbers and bushes:

You can plant different kinds of climbers and bushes or tiny sized plants in the gaps of spaces where big tree planting is not possible. Though the climbers need supports to develop, it could provide you a large leafy area that can brighten up the pillars, boundary walls, arches and can wrap the ugly portion around your building area as well.

The after cares:

The after care is quite essential for the growth of the saplings in a proper manner. You should water the plants on regular basis, give manure, use effective chemicals to protect them from pests, insects and also cattle.
